In our unit on exploration, we will start with an overview of events in Europe and what prompted exploration. We will take a look at geography, the Columbian Exchange, and the "3 G's" of the motivation of European countries as they began to try to find a water route to Asia.
VOCABULARY:
Activity One: Sketch Notes- Students should use classroom resources to compile a list of vocabulary terms for this unit. For each word students shoud have: the definition, the meaning in their own words, and a visual representation or symbol. This was completed in class (8/21) and should have been finished as PRACTICE.
